Teaching Assistant Position Available

Gyeongju English Village (GEV) located at Bomum Resort in Gyeongju (one hour from Daegu) is looking for teachings assistants for a winter camp. Applicants should be enthusiastic,active and enjoy spending time with kids. 

Employment Period: January 3^rd – January 29^th 2011

Responsibilities:
1) Teach 3 hours of class a day / 6 days a week (from 4:00 – 8:30pm)
2) Supervise students during field trips (once a week)
3) Attend staff meetings
   *The schedule will not exceed 24 hours a week. 

Remunerations:
1) 1,400,000won (4.4% income tax will be deduced, 350,000won payed weekly)
2) 3 meals a day (Korean food from the campus cafeteria)
3) Free accommodation (shared room in the staff dormitory)
4) Certificate of work experience and reference letters will also be provided.

This is a great chance to travel to a new part of Korea.  Gyeongju is commonly called an open air museum due to the many historical sites dispersed in the area.  Our campus is located near restaurants, hotels and an amusement park.  Busan, Pohang, Ulsan and Daegu are all within one hour away and easily accessible via public transportation.
