Entrepreneurial Management Center

The Entrepreneurial Management Center (EMC) was founded in March 1998 to provide managerial support for small/venture businesses as they start up or survive in a globally competitive environment. As a viable partner in industry-university cooperation, the EMC activities involve doing researches on small/venture business startups and entrepreneurship management, along with educating people who are interested in the creating and managing small business, and giving consulting services for small and medium businesses in various managerial functions they may find challenging.
The EMC has been granted by Korea Science Foundation in 2003 to conduct some basic research in small businesses environment.
As a result, the EMC has a good collection of raw data on entrepreneurship, among others. The EMC has been hosting "National Conference for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management" every year since 1999. The EMC has also been doing government sponsored research projects such as from Korean Federation of Small Business Association and Office of Small Business Administration. The EMC has the distinct capability to provide information on various aspects of small business startups and management process with the background in accumulated research on entrepreneurship and small/venture businesses.
