Introduction

The objective of medical education at the College of Medicine, Yeungnam University, is to develop and produce physicians who are capable in the field of primary health care and well-developed in ethics and intellectual character.

To achieve this objective, students should.

• ① Be able to apply their medical knowledge and clinical skills in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common diseases and injuries of the community and the nation,
• ② Maintain professional attitudes and behavior with a sense of humanities, ethics and responsibility, and work as cooperative and collaborative members of a health care team,
• ③ Adopt attitudes of self-learning as life-long learners concerned with social change and scientific growth and development,
• ④ Develop the capability to perform basic medical research.
