Will work to strengthen support for graduates of the College of Law, while normalizing Law School education

Professor Bae, Byung Il of the Law School was
selected as the 11th chairperson of the Korea Law Professors Association.
The Korea Law Professors Association held a re-election for the chairperson of the 11th chairperson at the mock court of Dongguk University on the 19th, and Professor Bae was appointed as the chairperson by taking 56 of the 108 votes. His term will be for two years.
The new Chairperson Bae said, "We have the heavy responsibility of responding to the demand for law majors, which have been increasing in various aspects of society, by supplying outstanding human resources appropriately. I will do my best so that colleges of law and law schools that are in charge of Korea's legal education will be successful." He also added, "I will work hard for strengthening support for graduates of colleges of law, establishing plans for the normalization of law school education, promoting exchange between colleges of laws and law schools, and promoting the professors association."
Chairperson Bae served as the dean of the YU College of Law, dean of the Law School, and as the chairperson of the Association of Deans of Korean Law Colleges. He is currently serving as the vice-chairperson of Korean Association of Private Law and the director of the Korean Association of Law Schools Law Legal Education Eligibility Test(LEET) Research Team.
The Korea Law Professors Association that was launched in 1964 is the headquarters and incubator studies in law in Korea and it is an organization that represents over 2,000 law professors in 25 law schools and 75 colleges of law across the nation.
