The YU Medical Center (Executive Director Kim, Tae Nyeun) held a donation ceremony to help children with rare incurable diseases at the outpatient office of the department of pediatrics at 11:30 P.M. on June 24. 5 million won each to Song O-ho (male, 19, aplastic anemia) and Kim O-soo (female, 14, neuroblastoma), who are both being treated at the hospital for rare incurable diseases, for a total of 10 million won.
This donation was made by the Rotary International District 3700. The newly appointed president of this club, Lee, Hwa Young, on July 1 asked that rather than giving flowers for the appointment ceremony, they gather the expenses for it.
