94 PhDs, 656 master's and 3,901 bachelor's at each college, graduate school and professional and special graduate schools

YU (President Sur Gil-soo) held the 2016 graduate school graduation ceremony at the Cheonma Art Center Chamber Hall at 10:30 a,m, on the 22nd.
The colleges, two professional graduate schools such as the School of Medicine and Law School, and nine special graduate schools such as the Graduate School of Business Administration, Public Administration, Environment & Public Health Studies, Sports Science, Clinical Pharmacy, Education, Engineering, Arts & Design, and the Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul also held their individual graduation ceremonies.
3,901 bachelors, 656 masters and 94 PhDs received their degrees at YU on this day. YU President Sur Gil-soo, Graduate School Dean Lee Tae-jin and Yeungnam Education Foundation Director Lee Cheon-soo attended the graduation ceremony to congratulate the graduating students.
Mr. Sur said at the graduating dinner, "I would like to congratulate you on earning your honorable degrees through your great efforts over several years on behalf of YU." He added, "Graduation is not the end. It is a new beginning to a different world. By taking on the challenges with noble ideals and visions, I am confident that you will be the masters of the future."
In particular, 254 international students (28 bachelors', 210 masters', 16 PhDs) received their diplomas including Mr. Gholami Farkoush Saeid (33) from Iran who majored in electric engineering, and 390 undergraduates who graduated received dual diplomas.
